Tasting Notes
Each appellation partner in our 2019 Ménage à Trois Chardonnay contributes a distinctive quality to the finished blend: crisp, lemon and lime aromas from Monterey; vibrant, tropical fruit flavors from Santa Barbara; and beautiful structure from Sonoma. The resulting Chardonnay is fullbodied on the palate, with strong varietal fruit characters.
Winemaker Notes
Although it’s a tad risqué, Ménage à Trois 2019 Chardonnay has an impeccable, California coastal pedigree. To enhance its delicious fruity flavors, we fermented the wine with a special French yeast (but of course!), induced partial malolactic fermentation, and coupled the creamy result with French and American oak, thus delighting Chardonnay hedonists everywhere.
